First Environmental Laboratories is able to deliver your analytical data in a wide variety of electronic formats. Several formats of Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) can be generated based on your unique needs. The EDD is created directly from our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and put into a file format that can be imported into many different applications.

LUST Program
The Illinois Administrative Code; Title 35 Part 732 controls
rules for leaking underground storage tanks (LUST).
Methyl tertiary-Butyl Ether or MTBE has been added as an
indicator contaminant for gasoline. This compound can be detected
in the volatile analysis fraction with the other BTEX compounds.
Method 8260B is our recommended method for the determination of
MTBE with a routine reporting limit of 5.0 ppb.
A NELAP accredited laboratory is required to analyze samples
collected on or after January 1, 2003. The lab must be accredited
as set forth in Title 35 Part 186. First Environmental is
currently Illinois ELAP/NELAP accredited and meets all the
requirements of this proposed revision. Details on our
accreditation can be obtained at: www.firstenv.com/accreditations.htm
Forms required for the LUST program, including the
Laboratory Certification for Chemical Analysis, can be obtained

40 CFR 745, Section 403 –
Lead in Paint, Dust, and Soil
On January 5th, 2001, the USEPA released the
final “403” section of 40 CFR Part 745.
This regulation became effective March 6, 2001.
This regulation establishes standards identifying hazardous
levels of lead in paint, dust and soil. Additionally, there is a
new requirement to use ASTM-approved wipe sampling media: ASTM
Method E1792, “Standard Specification for Wipe Sampling
Materials for Lead Surface Dust.”
First Environmental Laboratories, Inc. can provide sampling
media that meet the requirements of ASTM Method E1792.
